Amberley House Bed & Breakfast Dublin is a Georgian Townhouse on Gardiner St within a 5 min walk of Dublin City centre. We are centrally located within 5 min to the Connolly train station, Central bus station Dublin (Bus Arus) allowing access to the Airlink bus service, a 15 min journey to Dublin Airport.  Dublin’s, Trinity College, Temple Bar, O’ Connell St, Grafton St, and St Patrick’s Cathedral are all within close proximity.  Amberley House offers good value accommodation and a warm atmosphere with 24 well appointed en-suite bedrooms.

The standard Double, Twin, Triple and family rooms are all en-suite with TV, tea & coffee making facilities. Our rates include a full Irish/continental breakfast.

Shopping: Over the past number of years visitors to Dublin City have enjoyed many attractions and historic sites that will stimulate the mind and spirit with excitement and joy. While staying here in Amberley House, one will be able to access some of Dublin’s best and most sought after shopping areas and tourist attractions along with some entertaining venues and great dining emporiums.

There are many exclusive shops within walking distance of Amberley House. O’Connell St is a 3 min walk which has Henry St a St (Jervis centre, Arnotts, Ilac centre) Moore St (outdoor fruit and vegetable market every day and its shopping arcades adjacent to it. Grafton St is also a short walk away with a choice of exclusive designer boutiques to choose from. Tesco, Penny’s. Dunne’s Stores within 3 min walk. Carroll’s gift shop is only  3 min walk. Retail Parks are accessible by bus and rail

Trinity College Dublin

Amberley House B&B  is close to many Dublin Visitor Attractions  including The National Convention Centre is a five min walk with the O2 and Dublin’s eye a few min’s further along the same route.
Trinity College (Book of Kells), Grafton St, St Stephens Green and Iveagh Gardens. The General Post Office (GPO) O Connell St, and The Millennium Spire are close by. Temple Bar, International Financial Services Centre (IFSC), River boat cruises on the river Liffey, Bus Stops. Tourist Office Taxi rank. Banking and bureau de change, James Joyce centre, Writers museum, all a five min walk.
 
 The famous Guinness Hop store, Jameson Distillery, Legal Quarter and Four Courts are close by. St Patrick’s cathedral, The Viking Medieval Area, Dublin Institute of Technology, National Library, Gallery and Museum are all within walking distance. Government Buildings and the Lord Mayors Office are close by. The Phoenix Park with its fantastic Zoo is within easy reach.

Transport:  From Dublin Airport the Airlink and Air coach offer a comfortable and stress free route to the Dublin City centre stops, and you will find our location easy to find from there. Dublin Bus offer a commuter service from the Airport to the City centre also Taxi’s are available from the Airport also. The Bus terminal (Bus Arus) for city and intercity routes operate daily is a short walk from Amberley House. The Dublin tram (Luas) operates from here also. The train station Connolly station for commuter trains is located close by also.
Our reception will arrange a taxi for you to any destination with our partners Global Taxi’s, bookings in advance can be arranged for you with our online facility.
Eating Out: 
Eating out in Dublin is an experience not to be missed whatever your taste in food requires. Traditional Irish dining or international cuisine restaurants provide a great range and standard for visitors to the Capital City. There are many excellent establishments within walking distance to Amberley House.
Tours:   Three are many tour options available from our central location. Dublin Bus provides a range of facilities from the basic hop-on, hop-off, to the more detailed excursions of our city and its surrounding coastline. Our reception will pre book any tour of your choice and destination of which there are many to choose from.

Cinema:  Several cinema theatres are close to Amberley House’s central location. Our reception will provide you with a list of cinema’s, movie choice and times of shows which are on daily.
Theatres:  Ireland has so many famous authors and actors which are famous across Europe and the World in the past and present. The Abbey theatre is only a five min walk from Amberley House along with other famous theatres, The Gate, Ambassador, and The Gaiety. Three is now a very good choice of international shows regularly showing at many other venues. We recommend that you visit the theatre whils staying at Amberley House.
